Tregathenan Accessibility Statement

Tregathenan is a former working farm with some of its buildings dating back some 400 years.  We are committed to ensuring that guests with special requirements maximise their enjoyment of their stay here, and so have described some of the physical layout features of the accommodation at Tregathenan.

Outside

The surface of outside areas and paths comprise a mixture of tarmac, granite chippings and cobbles.

Due to the age of the buildings, headroom is restricted in some areas, mainly doorways.  Most exterior entranceways have a raised threshold.

Inside

All the public rooms in Tregathenan House (B&B) are on the ground floor. The surfaces are a mixture of slate tiles, carpet and laminate flooring. There are no ground floor bedrooms in Tregathenan House.

The Hayloft and Granary self-catering cottages are on two floors with the bedrooms located upstairs.  The bathroom in the Hayloft is on the ground floor.  The Long Barn is single storey, with level access to all rooms.

If you have any special requirements or any questions about access in and around Tregathenan, please do not hesitate to call or email us.  We are always pleased to help where we possibly can.
