BOOKING TERMS

How to Book: Please complete all the details on the Booking Form overleaf. The Lead Booker (you) must be one of the Party staying in the property covered by this Booking Form. Where a booking has been made by telephone or email, except where confirmed at the time by debit or credit card, this is provisional and will be reserved for 5 days. You should ensure the completed Booking Form and deposit are sent to us within this time, otherwise we cannot guarantee your holiday will still be available. Please include the names of all those in your Party on the Booking Form. Only those guests named on the Booking Form may stay in the property. If any of these details change before your holiday, you must let us know in writing.

Prices: Prices include all electricity (except EV charging), gas, bed linen, towels, tea towels and bath mat. Beach towels are not provided. Where a property has been booked for more than a week, fresh bed linen will be provided weekly. Cot, high chair and stairgate can all be provided FOC. Free WiFi is available for recreational purposes only – it is not meant for business use. The speed/service cannot be guaranteed as this is outside our control. Where dogs are permitted in the property there is a supplement of £30 per week or part thereof. (see section on Pets below).

Deposit and Payment of Balance: A deposit of 25% of the total Holiday Price is required with this Booking Form, subject to a minimum of £100. The balance is due 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Upon receipt of the balance, we will send you an acknowledgement and further details, including directions and arrival information. Payments can be made as follows: (i) by bank transfer to account no. 02421704, sort code 53-50-37, or (ii) by debit/credit card – these details can be supplied over the phone. Where two or more properties are booked by the same group, a damage deposit of £200.00 is payable upon booking.

Arrival/Departure: We ask you to vacate your property by 10am on the day of departure (9.30 for Tregathenan House). Guests are requested to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition. Your property will normally be available from 4pm. You should contact us a few days prior to your holiday to let us know your estimated arrival time.

Cancellation, Covid and Refunds: Should we have to cancel your holiday for any reason, we will refund a maximum of all of the Charges already paid, or transfer these monies to a new holiday in any of the properties at Tregathenan, within a 12 month period, at your choice, subject to availability and subject to any variation in price. No refunds of any Charges paid will be given should you cancel your holiday for any reason, unless we are able to re-let the property. Guests are strongly recommended to take out holiday cancellation insurance to cover this. If we are able to re-let the property, we will refund all the Charges you have paid, less £100 to cover administration, re-marketing and labour costs.

Pets: One well-behaved dog per property is permitted by prior agreement with the Owner, on the understanding that Guests keep their pet under strict control at all times and do not cause a nuisance or annoyance to other Guests. Guests are requested not to exercise dogs within the courtyard area; there are many fields and footpaths adjoining the property that are suitable for exercising dogs, although Guests should respect any livestock in the fields. Dogs should never be left alone in the property. Guests will be required to make good any damage caused by their pets. Pets are not permitted in the Hayloft or in Tregathenan House.

Parking and EV Charging: Parking is available for up to 3 cars. Guests with electric vehicles requiring charging during their stay should complete the relevant details overleaf. There is a flat fee per week or part thereof, payable in advance and covers unlimited charging whilst you are staying at Tregathenan where your vehicle is used for normal holiday travel. Parking and use of EV Charging points are at Guest’s own risk.

Occupation and Access: The Guests detailed on the Booking Form are entitled to occupy the property shown on this Booking Form for the period stated for temporary holiday use. Guests have no right to remain in the property after the last date stated on the Booking Form. We reserve the right to require Guests to vacate the property immediately in the unlikely event that any of the Guests behaves in a way that causes or is likely to cause inconvenience, damage or nuisance to others. Occasionally we may need to gain access to your property during your stay for maintenance, repair or any other reason. You agree to provide us access.

General Terms: This Booking Form and the Booking Terms form the contract between Tregathenan Partnership and the Lead Booker. We cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to Guest’s baggage or personal belongings, or loss or damage to any vehicle or its contents. The use of amenities, cots, high chairs and stair gates are entirely at the Guests’ own risk. Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information contained in our marketing material and on our website is current and accurate, availability of amenities cannot be guaranteed. Guests may be required to pay for any losses or damage to the property or the contents that occur during their stay (reasonable wear and tear accepted). All properties are non-smoking.
